Europe
The European Union (EU) is a reference point for CIDOB’s research. It considers the debates over the EU’s internal transformation and its role as an international actor, incorporating the idea that today the concept of sovereignty has overflowed state borders to expand both vertically (via membership of supranational organisations and increasing prominence of sub-state entities) and horizontally (wider range of actors and areas of sovereignty).

DIGNITYFIRM
DignityFIRM aims to contribute to improving conditions of irregular migrants working in Farm to Fork (F2F) labour markets by analysing regulatory infrastructures that govern these conditions.
SHAPEDEM-EU
The SHAPEDEM-EU project (Rethinking and Reshaping the EU’s Democracy Support in its Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood) sets out to rethink, reshape, and review the EU’s democracy support policies in its Eastern & Southern Neighbourhoods.
REGROUP
The REGROUP project (Rebuilding governance and resilience out of the pandemic) seeks to provide the European Union with a body of actionable advice on how to rebuild post-pandemic governance and public policies in an effective and democratic way.
DE-CONSPIRATOR
The project aims to provide novel insights, categories, concepts, measurements and empirical results, to help counter Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI) and information suppression in the EU and partner countries.
InvigoratEU
The Project investigates how can the EU invigorate its enlargement and neighbourhood policy to enhance Europe's resilience
DigiDem-EU
DigiDem-EU project aims to analyse, discuss, and build citizens’ understanding and awareness on how technology impacts EU democracy, politics, civic engagement, and citizens’ rights.
OPEN EUROPEAN DIALOGUE
The Open European Dialogue - formerly known as the Mercator European Dialogue – is a politically neutral dialogue platform for Europe’s policymakers, focusing on members of Parliament who value open exchange.
EWSI
The European Web Site on Integration (EWSI) is a portal, which serves to share information and best practices of all member states of the European Union on the integration of immigrants.
