7th International Seminar on Security and Defence in the Mediterranean. Regional conflicts and security strategies

A compilation of all the addresses, interventions and reports presented at the 7th International Seminar on Security and Defence in the Mediterranean, held in December 2008. In this volume, the authors summarise the progress being made on different cooperation initiatives (the Union for the Mediterranean, 5+5, NATO's Mediterranean Dialogue), as well as analysing the dynamics of conflicts and cooperation in the Maghreb region, the near East and between Greece and Turkey and, finally, the book examines the content and impact of the reformulations of different security strategies.
