14th Dialogue SWP – CIDOB – FES

CIDOB, FES and SWP, with the support of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, the Spanish Embassy in Germany and the German Federal Foreign Office, are organizing the 14^th edition of the CIDOB-FES-SWP Dialogue. The Dialogue brings together German and Spanish policy makers and experts at a key moment in European integration where bilateral cooperation between countries with common interests must be strengthened. The aim of the Dialogue is to deepen cooperation through dialogue between think tanks and to identify the areas in which the relationship between Spain and Germany may help the EU move forward in an increasingly hostile international context and with member states increasingly reluctant to continue sharing sovereignty.

Spain and Germany share interests, goals and perspectives on the current challenges the EU is facing. Finding the paths and policy areas through which to channel these shared interests will be key to the future of EU integration. The various topics to be addressed include the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East and the geopolitical role of the EU, competitiveness and the green industrial future of the EU, and the management of migration flows.
