Judy Asks: Is Europe Still Committed to Ukraine?

Carme Colomina, senior research fellow at the Barcelona Centre for International Affairs (CIDOB), answers Judy Dempsey’s question at Carnegie Strategic Europe blog: “Europe is rhetorically and politically committed to Ukraine. However, it is becoming increasingly difficult to put the EU’s money where its mouth is”. According to Colomina, “the EU’s political will to support Ukraine is hostage to the domestic agendas of some European capitals, and the pre-electoral period that is about to begin”.
