Introduction: Political ecology and human rights in Latin America

Issue 130 of Revista CIDOB d'Afers Internacionals seeks to analyse various points of current socio-environmental tension in protected natural areas (PNA) and their effects on human rights. The different articles and reviews examine specific dynamics that have become Gordian knots that involve agents, actors and processes on multiple scales (local, national, regional and multilateral).
